Boulder Hockey Club

Thank you to everyone that participated in our first annual Try Hockey for Free Day at the Denver Coliseum.  It was a huge success.  We had nearly 70 players come give hockey a try for the first time, and everyone had a great time.

 If your child has never played hockey before and wants to learn, these sessions are for you.  Full gear is required for all players. The class will be taught by Lou Anne Conent and BHC Hockey Director Chris Lockrem.

These sessions will be ran at the same time as the Learn to Skate sessions on a separate portion of the ice.

*Skates are available to rent, and we have a  limited amount of hockey equipment available.*

Full hockey gear is recommended, but the player shall have the following at minimum: Helmet, gloves, shin/knee pads, elbow pads, and a stick.

How do you know if your child is ready for Learn to Play Hockey?

Generally kids who are 4 or older, can skate forwards and get themselves back up if they fall down.  Players should be able to listen to the coaches and follow instructions, and most importantly want to learn hockey and have fun.

Winter Session 1

For kids 10 years and younger with little to no hockey experience
6 Weeks, January 19th -March 2nd  (No Class on Feb. 9th)
Cost: $90.00

Drop-In Fee - $20.00

Practice on February 2 will be one hour earlier than normal time!

(12-12:50 and 1-1:50)

NO PRACTICE FEBRUARY 9th!

Saturdays - Beginner/Intermediate Classes @ 2:00-2:50pm - SESSION IS FULL

 Saturdays - Groupon Beginner Classes @ 1:00-1:50pm - SESSION IS FULL

Tuesdays - Groupon/Beginner/Intermediate Classes @ 10:00-10:30am

(Must Have Groupon Redemption Code With You On The First Day Of Classes!)

Includes skate rental, 30 minute lesson and

20 minute scrimmage/practice time
